Delicious. Highly recommended. Even in times of "to go" I've been there several times and I'm very excited every time ?

Interesting location. There is a menu and it was delicious for us. Also suitable for vegetarians / vegans. Bongo and the service are very nice. Slightly higher in price but definitely something special.

Super delicious, vegetarian-African cuisine. There is a different dish every day and only as much as freshly cooked. Highly recommended, since the € 10 per dish with drink is absolutely justified.

Initially there was no place for us when we tried to book for dinner on the same day. However, when something changed Bongo personally called us back to invite us for dinner anyway :) The food was surprising, delicious and hearty. The people were friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend!

Ate there very well today. And when we are close again we will be happy to go there again ...

First time there and we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere was cozy, the food was excellent, as well as Ghanaian specialties and regional lemonades. The whole package was really lonely. See you again soon. To be recommended to all those who want to try their flavors and feel comfortable in a family, relaxed environment.

Great Africa-inspired food, with 7.50 per Meal a bit expensive.

Food tasted very different and the taste of the cook was not very soft. Service very friendly and nice but with language barriers, hygienic equipment and use of the catering business for me personally borderline, Equipment very shabby and old partly dirty, table decoration by Frank and Alt. On the whole it was not a nice visit for me personally, but for the other participants present everything was fine, so cosmopolitan people with cosmopolitan openness to food are highly recommended recommend

Was there for the first time today and the food is absolutely brilliant. The portion was huge and the employee was very personable and really nice. You feel very at home, despite the unusual food. Next time I am in Tübingen, I will definitely go again!

The Bongoroots is a real insider tip in Tübingen. The dishes are 100% vegan and extremely delicious. For me there is no better place in Tübingen to eat vegan food.

Very delicious vegan food, varied in taste and surprising, great seasoning. Even after the classic lunch time still well attended. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff. Cheap. In good weather you can sit outside. Quietly located in a residential street. The 10 minute walk from the center here have definitely been worthwhile.

I go with colleagues here i.d.R. eat once a week. Great (also totally child friendly) service, you will more than enough (and if not, then there's a look-up) and it tastes delicious!

Really delicious, African, vegan food. We ate the dinner menu. It was delicious, especially the baked plantains instead of bread were great. My companions were unfortunately too hot, but according to the service you can say that at the reservation, then they mitigate it a bit.

I moved here from DC, which has a pretty good restaurant scene, and this place has some of the best food I've ever eaten. It's especially amazing if you're vegan or veg, for which Tübingen's main offerings seem to be falafel, falafel, falafel, falafel, falafel, or "squeaky cheese" (halloumi). This guy cooks something different every day. It's always good, and usually amazing.
